Classic layered Rachel
A fictional South Asian woman in her 30s wearing a shoulder-length Rachel interpretation with pronounced rounded face framing, crown volume and outward-turning lower layers. Presented with a Type 1B-like blow-dried finish: mostly straight through the strand with enough body to hold the rounded layer pattern; the image does not establish the model’s natural hair subtype. Medium length, with the longest sections brushing the shoulders and progressively shorter layers framing the cheeks, jaw and upper neck.

Rachel cut with softer wave
A fictional Black or mixed-race woman in her 50s wearing a softer Rachel interpretation with shoulder-length layering, visible face framing and restrained 1990s volume. Presented with a Type 2A-like softly waved blowout: loose bends remain visible while the round-brush styling still separates the layered silhouette; the image does not establish the model’s natural hair subtype. Medium length around the shoulders, with shorter curved sections through the face and upper sides and flicked ends at the lower perimeter.
